Interrupt
IRQ3, IRQ4
An asterisk (‘*’) displayed next to an interrupt
indicates a conflict with another device.
Only appears if Serial Port A is Enabled.
Serial Port B:
Enabled, Auto, IrDA, Disabled
The default setting for Serial Port B supports the
hardware shipped in your system (i.e., if your
system shipped with a fax/modem board, Serial
Port B defaults to “Disabled”).
Auto enables the device, but the BIOS does not
place its resources unless the Plug and Play O/S
option in BIOS is set to No.

Mode
Serial, IrDA, ASK-IR
Sets the mode for Serial Port B.
Only appears if Serial Port B is Enabled.

Base I/O Address
3F8, 2F8, 3E8, 2E8
