4-2   Managing System Resources

This chapter provides information about the software tools
and utility programs on the system that can be used to
manage local or networked resources. These include
LANDesk Client Manager, the NEC SNMP Agent, NEC
Security, and NEC WebTelligent

 for managing networked

systems. It also describes the utilities that monitor the system,
for unusual behavior, including Cheyenne Backup utility, the
NEC Auto Backup utility, and the NEC Configuration
Change Notification.

These software tools and utility programs are on the NEC
Select Install CD that came with your system.

To install the software tools and programs on the system, see
“Installing Applications” in Chapter 3.
