5-26   Installing Options

Removing an Expansion Board

To remove an expansion board, perform the following steps:

1. 

Remove the system unit cover (see “Removing the
Cover”).

2. 

Label and remove any cables connected to the board.

3. 

Remove the screw that secures the board to the support
bracket. Set the screw aside (it will be used to secure the
slot cover once the board is removed).

4. 

Pull the board out of the connector. Pull the board out of
the expansion slot.

5. 

Replace the slot cover removed when the expansion board
was installed. Secure the cover with the screw.
