Questions and Answers C-13
What is the difference between a Supervisor password
and a User password?
A Supervisor password allows access to the BIOS Setup
utility for system configuration. A User password allows
system boot up only after a password has been entered.
Once the Supervisor password feature is enabled, the BIOS
Setup utility can only be accessed by entering the password.
When both the User password and Supervisor password are
enabled, only the Supervisor password gives you complete
access to all Setup fields.
