9-74 Upgrading Your Server
2.5-inch Additional Disk Cage
N8154-24 2.5-inch additional disk cage is dedicated to the server and can contain eight SAS or
SATA hard disk drives. You can configure a RAID System with hard disk drives installed in this
cage. The disk cage provides hot-swap feature that allows you to install/remove/replace the hard
disk drive while the server is being powered on.
Installation
Install the disk cage in the following procedure.
1.
See the section "Preparing for Installation and Removal" described earlier to prepare.
2.
Remove the left side cover and open the front mask.
3.
Hold the disk cage and insert it into the chassis as shown in the figure below.
4.
Secure the disk cage to the chassis with four screws provided with the cage.
