Setting for Receive Side Scaling
You need to change setting for the factory-installed network adapters (Intel(R) PRO/1000 EB
Network Connection with I/O Acceleration and Intel(R) PRO/1000 EB Network Connection with
I/O Acceleration #2).
IMPORTANT:
With Windows Server 2003 64-bit (x64) Editions,
perform the following steps before installing Intel(R) PROSet.
1.
Open [Control Panel]. Under [System and Maintenance], click [Open Device Manager] to
start [Device Manager].
2.
Open [Network adapters], and then double-click [Intel(R) PRO/1000
∼
].
3.
Select [Advanced], change [Receive Side Scaling] to "Disabled".
4.
Click [OK].
5.
Restart the system.
Now the setting is complete.
IMPORTANT:
With Windows Server 2003 64-bit (x64) Editions,
[Receive Side Scaling] may not appear if the Intel(R) PROSet has
already been installed. In this case, you need to uninstall the PROSet
before changing [Receive Side Scaling]. See "PROSet" for how to
uninstall PROSet.
