Fail to access (read or write) to the floppy disk:

Does the floppy disk drive contain a floppy disk?
→
Insert a floppy disk into the floppy disk drive until it clicks.

Is the floppy disk write-protected?
→
Place the write-protect switch on the floppy disk to the "Write-enabled" position.

Is the floppy disk formatted?
→
Use a formatted floppy disk or format the floppy disk in the floppy disk drive.
Refer to the manual that comes with the OS for formatting a floppy disk.

Is BIOS configuration correct?
→
The USB device may be disabled with the BIOS setup utility of the server.
Check the setting with the BIOS setup utility.

Fail to access to the CD/DVD-ROM:

Is the CD/DVD-ROM properly set in the optical disk drive tray?

The tray is provided with a holder to secure the CD/DVD-ROM. Make sure that
the CD/DVD-ROM is placed properly in the holder.

Is the CD/DVD-ROM applicable to the server?
→
The CD/DVD-ROM for Macintosh is not available for use.
