Upgrading Your Server 9-45

Memory Board

To install or remove the DIMM, remove the memory board first.

One memory board is factory-installed in the server. A single memory board can contain up to eight
DIMMs (32GB max.). Up to four memory boards (128GB max.) can be installed in the server.

NOTE:

Install the memory board in the slot starting from #A, #B, #C,

and then #D. To install the memory board in slot #C, you must install
another one in slot #D at the same time.
