WOL
Refer to the following procedure for WOL(Wake On LAN) setting.
When PROSet is not installed
1.
Start Device Manager.
2.
Point to [Network adapters] and double click following adapter.
Open the adapter [Properties].
[Intel(R) 82576 Gigabit Dual Port Server Network Connection]
[Intel(R) 82576 Gigabit Dual Port Server Network Connection #2]
3.
Click [Power Management] tab and change setting in [Wake On LAN] according to the
following list.
Setting item
Using WOL
Not using
WOL
"Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"
ON
ON
"Allow this device to bring the computer out of standby"
ON or OFF OFF
IMPORTANT:
Set "Allow this device to bring..." "ON", WOL by Directed
Packet(*1) or Magic Packet will available on Standby and Hibernate
state.
WOL by Directed Packet is not available on Shutdown state.
*1 Packet with the Ethernet address of the adapter in Ethernet header or
Packet with an IP address assigned to the adapter in IP header.
4.
Click [Advanced] tab and point to [Enable PME].
5.
Set in [Value] as follows.

Using WOL : ON
–
Not using WOL: OFF
6.
Click [OK].
7.
Restart the system.
