Installing the Operating System with Express
Setup
This section describes information on using Express Setup to install and configure the following
operating systems to the server.
Microsoft® Windows Server® 2008 R2 Standard / Microsoft® Windows Server® 2008
R2 Enterprise
Microsoft® Windows Server® 2008 Standard 64-bit (x64) Edition / Microsoft® Windows
Server® 2008 Enterprise 64-bit (x64) Edition
Microsoft® Windows Server® 2008 Standard 32-bit (x86) Edition / Microsoft® Windows
Server® 2008 Enterprise 32-bit (x86) Edition
Microsoft® Windows Server® 2003 R2 Standard Edition / Microsoft® Windows Server®
2003 R2 Enterprise Edition
To use the server with the other operating systems described in this section, contact your service
representative.
IMPORTANT:
Before installing the operating system, adjust the
system date and time by using the BIOS setup utility "SETUP." See
Chapter 4 for detail.
