G-16 Installing Windows Server 2003
Application Process of "Updating the System"
"Updating the System" applies the drivers necessary for NEC Express5800 Series.
Follow this process after Hotfix for Windows Server 2003 (KB921411) had been applied.
NOTE:
If you install Windows CD-ROM that contains Service Pack 2
to your system, you do not have to apply Service pack 2 again.
1.
Log on to the system with the account that has administrative privilege (e.g.
administrator).
2.
Insert the NEC EXPRESSBUILDER DVD-ROM into the optical disk drive of server.
The Autorun Menu will be displayed
3.
Left-click on [Setup Windows], and then click [Update the system].
NOTE:
Right-clicking on the Autorun Menu produces the same
outcome.
4.
When the following message appears, click [OK].
IMPORTANT:
There is no problem in operation though the following
messages might be displayed while executing "Updating the system".
It is not displayed after a few seconds, and please does not push the
[Cancel] button while it is displayed.
