Boot
When the cursor is moved to the [Boot] position, the Boot menu is displayed.
For details about the options, see the following table.

Description
Boot Configuration

Quiet Boot
Disabled
[Enabled]
When this option is set to [Disabled], the
results of POST execution are displayed
instead of the NEC logo after the power is
turned on.
If [BIOS Redirection Port] is enabled, this
option is shown as [Unavailable] and
inaccessible. The Quiet Boot feature
always disabled.
If [BIOS Redirection Port] is disabled, the
default setting is displayed at the next
startup of SETUP, and you can change
setting.
Bootup Numlock State
On
[Off]
Specify whether to enable or disable the
Numlock state when the system starts up.
Setup Prompt Timeout
A number
Specify the time until the
F2
is pressed to
launch SETUP during POST.
Boot Option Priorities

These items display the priority of boot
devices.
If all of the Boot Options are set to
[Disabled], the SETUP starts running upon
completion of POST.
