Ensure the eccentric idlers are rotated to give little or no tension to the delivery
roller drive belts.
Raise the delivery until it is fully up (ensure the gearbox is engaged first).
Turn on the 'System Switch'.
In the 'Tools' menu, activate the 'Delivery Belt Setup' facility.
The Delivery belt will now be running.
Monitor the delivery belt for signs of lateral movement. Please note that it can take many
revolutions of the belt before any noticeable change. Always leave the belt for approximately
20 revolutions between adjustments.
The belt tension is adjusted by using a 4mm Allen key on each of the adjuster screws at the end
of the delivery. Turning the adjuster screw clockwise will tighten the belt tension.
If the belt starts to run off to one side, it will be necessary to adjust the belt tension using the
following rules;
The belt will always track to the loosest side.
If the Belt is already tight on both sides, you should loosen the side you wish to track the
Belt to.
If the Belt tension feels OK on both sides, it is acceptable to tighten the side to which the
belt has traversed a little.
Once the Delivery Belt has stabilised, you will need to re-tension the 'Delivery Roller' drive
belts and secure the eccentric adjusters (See FIG.10.1.4), check for excess movement on
the roller slides before refitting the Upper End Panel.
The delivery roller is responsible for the shingling of the processed sheets. It is positioned in
accordance with the length of the sheet being processed and the type of fold being performed.
There are two areas to set-up for this roller to perform correctly.
