Pre-Power Setup Procedure.

The 'Pre-Power Procedure' does not require connection to the mains power supply so leave the
machine disconnected if the covers have been removed.

The Autofold Pro is packaged with the Vacuum Table folded into a vertical position. Use the
following procedure to fix the Vacuum Table into its operating position.

1.1. Ensure the Lower Gas Strut Eyes and the Support Stud Knob are loose.

1.2. Press the Vacuum Table down, compressing the Gas Strut further to release the Table

from the Tabs that hook the Table in its vertical position.

1.3. With the Table free, lift the Table to its highest point locating the Support Disk on either

side of the Table into the Location plates. (See FIG.1.3 Below).

1.4. With the Table at its highest point tighten the Support Stud to support the Table and

then Tighten the Gas Strut Eyes in place, ensuring the Gas Struts are fully extended.

1.5. Now loosen the Support Stud and lower the Table so that the Gas struts are

compressed and the Table is level. Then tighten the Support Stud to hold Table in place
ready for the Table to be correctly alined.

The Vacuum Table Assembly effectively consists of the Vacuum Table itself, the Feed System & the
Vacuum System which aligns the paper to the Fixed Sidelay and therefore must be square to the
input rollers.
