4.6 Concept of I/O Number Assignment
4.6.1 I/O numbers of base unit
The CPU module assigns I/O numbers at power-on or reset.
Figure 4.17 shows the example of the I/O number assignment when the base unit is set in
Auto mode without I/O assignment.
The above example assumes that the I/O points of the intelligent function module are 32
points.
The number of I/O points changes depending on the intelligent function module.
Assign the I/O numbers after confirming the number of I/O points in the manual of the used
intelligent function module.
POINT
The CPU module can control even if I/O assignment has not been made by GX
Developer.
