(2) Method of replacing High Performance model QCPU with Universal
model QCPU
(a) When file usability is set for file register, device initial value, and/or
comment
Replacement method depends on the contents on the PLC file setting tab of PLC
parameter.
(b) When file usability is set for local device
When the local device to be used is set on the PLC file setting tab of PLC
parameter, all programs use the set local device.

regardless of the file usability setting in the High Performance model QCPU.
"Use the same file name as the
program." is selected.
When file usability is set to "Not used." in the High Performance model QCPU, delete the
corresponding program file (file register, device initial value or comment), which uses the same name
as the program, from the target memory. The Universal model QCPU executes a program without
using a program file if no program file that uses the same name as the program exists in the target
memory.
"Use the following file." is
selected.
No change in parameter setting is required.Operation of the Universal model QCPU is the same
regardless of the file usability setting in the High Performance model QCPU.
