REUSE LIFE of each reagent can be defined using the check boxes (see figure above on the right, yellow
square):
Check the expiration date
. Tick this box to check the reagent expiration date, according to your
requirements.
Check the performed cycles
. Tick this box to check the maximum number of cycles to be carried out with
the reagent in use.
Check the processed cassettes
. Tick this box to check the maximum number of cassettes to be processed
with this reagent.
Use for PRE-SOAKING phases
. Tick this box to set the reagent to be used as PRE-SOAKING reagent
(refer to chapter 3.2.5).
Use for HOLDING phases
. Tick this box to set the reagent to be used as HOLDING reagent (refer to
chapter 3.2.5).
Use for FLUSHING phases
. Tick this box to set the reagent to be used as FLUSHING reagent.
Use for RINSING phases
. Tick this box to set the DEHYDRATION reagent to be used also as RINSING
reagent.
Click on the relative Check boxes to activate the settings described above (points 1,2,3 in the chapter 4.1)
regarding date of next change, number of maximum processing runs and/or processed cassettes performed
with any reagent, so that the system automatically warns before the process starts.
“Add” a new reagent or “Delete” it (figure below, yellow square) by pressing on the relative icon.
Every new added reagent can be used for any phase.
Once added, it is possible to set the reagent’s short
name, color, check its expiration date, its performed cycles and its processed cassettes and set the
maximum values.

Recommendations for reuse life
The following recommendations are conceived as a guideline to ensure quality processing.
For safety reasons, factory pre-stored reagents cannot be deleted.
Default reagents settings are factory set, to assure optimal resul
ts. Don’t modify them.
