To force the cavity level press the Cavity icon, as shown below. The following screen appears.
It is possible to force the cavity level at an upper level, as indicated in the previous figure, even if the number
of cassettes is only 60.
Refer to chapter 3.2.5.1 for further details.
Normally the software automatically sets a process with:
SPLIT RACK
“Rack Layer: 1” – “Cavity Level: 2” if from 1 to 70 cassettes are inserted
“Rack Layer: 2” – “Cavity Level: 2” if from 71 to 140 cassettes are inserted
“Rack Layer: 3” – “Cavity Level: 3” if from 141 to 210 cassettes are inserted
SUPERMEGA RACK
“Rack Layer: 1” – “Cavity Level: 2” if from 1 to 12 supermega cassettes are inserted
“Rack Layer: 2” – “Cavity Level: 3” if from 13 to 24 supermega cassettes are inserted
RB300 (Random Basket 300)
“Cavity Level: 3” if from 1 to 300 cassettes are inserted
Therefore when using:
SPLIT RACK, it is possible to force the Cavity Level at 3 (when starting a program with Cavity Level 2),
SUPERMEGA RACK, it is possible to force the Cavity Level at 3 (when starting a program with Cavity
Level 2),
RB300, it is NOT possible to force the Cavity Level because it only works with 3 layers of reagent,
It is possible to force an upper custom level at the start of a standard program.
This function is NOT available when starting a Favourite program. Below the instructions.
When starting a program in “Delay Mode”, it is possible to add extra cassettes during the
pre-soaking phase, as explained in the chapter 3.2.5 (remember that it is possible only in
this phase). The number of cassettes, that is allowed to add, depends of the “Cavity level”
of the process.
If you insert a number of cassettes that corresponds to “Cavity level: 2”, it will be possible
to force the cavity level only to 3 layers.
The programs available will be that o
f the layer chosen, so it won’t be possible to start a
ONE LAYER program if the TWO LAYERS is forced
