Operating fluids include the following:

Coolant

Brake fluid

Windshield washer fluid

Climate control system refrigerant
Only use products recommended by Mercedes-
Benz. Damage caused by using vehicle products
which have not been recommended is not cov‐
ered by the Mercedes-Benz guarantee, warranty
or goodwill gestures.
You can identify operating fluids approved by
Mercedes-Benz by the following inscription on
the containers:

MB-Freigabe (e.g. MB-Freigabe 229.51)

Before refueling, switch off the engine

tionary heater.
