Exterior lighting
Lighting systems and your responsibility
The various lighting systems of the vehicle are
only aids. The driver of the vehicle is responsible
for correct vehicle illumination in accordance
with the prevailing light and visibility conditions,
legal requirements and traffic situation.

Activates/deactivates the rear fog
light
When low beam is activated, the indicator lamp
for the parking lights is deactivated and replaced
by the low beam indicator lamp.
Always park your vehicle safely and in a well-lit
area, in accordance with the relevant legal stipu‐
lations.

NOTE Battery discharging by operating
the standing lights
Operating the standing lights over a period of
hours puts a strain on the battery.

Where possible, switch on the
right
X
or left
W
parking light.
In the case of severe battery discharging, the
parking lights or standing lights are automati‐
cally switched off to facilitate a future engine
start.
