ror you have selected.
An outside mirror which has been pushed out of
position can be engaged in position again in the
following manner:
#
Vehicles without electrically folding out‐
side mirrors: Manually move the outside
mirror into the correct position.

Vehicles with electrically folding outside
mirrors: Press and hold button

You will hear a click and the mirror audibly
engage in position. The mirror is set into the
correct position.
Automatic anti-glare mirrors
&
WARNING Risk of burns and poisoning
due to electrolyte of the anti-glare mirror
Electrolyte may escape if the glass in an
automatic anti-glare mirror breaks.
The electrolyte is harmful and causes irrita‐
tion. It must not come into contact with your
skin, eyes, respiratory organs or clothing or
be swallowed.
If you come into contact with electrolyte,
observe the following:
R
Rinse the electrolyte from your skin and
seek medical attention immediately.
R
If electrolyte comes into contact with
your eyes, rinse them thoroughly with
clean water and seek medical attention
immediately.
R
If the electrolyte is swallowed, immedi‐
ately rinse your mouth out thoroughly. Do
not induce vomiting. Seek medical atten‐
tion immediately.
R
Immediately change out of clothing which
has come into contact with electrolyte.
R
If an allergic reaction occurs, seek medi‐
cal attention immediately.
The outside and inside rearview mirrors on the
driver's side automatically go into anti-glare
mode if light from a headlamp hits the inside
rearview mirror.
System limitations
The mirrors do not go into anti-glare mode in the
following situations:
R
The engine is switched off.
R
The reverse gear is engaged.
R
The interior lighting is switched on.
Parking position of the passenger outside
mirror
The parking position makes parking easier.
The passenger outside mirror tilts downwards
and shows the rear wheel on the front passenger
side if:
R
The parking position is stored
R
The passenger mirror is selected
R
And the reverse gear is engaged.
The passenger outside mirror moves back to its
original position in the following situations:
R
If you shift the transmission to another trans‐
mission position
R
If you drive faster than 15 km/h
