WARNING Risk of injury from incorrect
positioning of the jack
If you do not position the jack correctly at
the appropriate jacking point of the vehicle,
the jack could tip with the vehicle raised.

Only position the jack at the appropri‐
ate jacking point of the vehicle. The
base of the jack must be positioned ver‐
tically under the jacking point of the
vehicle.

NOTE Vehicle damage from the jack
If you do not position the jack correctly at
the appropriate jack support point of the
vehicle, the jack could tip over with the vehi‐
cle raised.

The jack is designed exclusively for
jacking up the vehicle at the jack sup‐
port points.
#
Take the ratchet box wrench out of the vehi‐
cle tool kit and place it on the hexagon nut of
the jack so that the letters "AUF" (up) are
visible.

Turn ratchet box wrench

clockwise until
jack

sits completely on jack support point

and the base of the jack lies evenly on
the ground.

Continue to turn ratchet box wrench

until
the tire is raised a maximum of 1.2 in (3 cm)
off the ground.
