2.2 Description and function
Air is heated inside the appliance by means of large-area all-round heating. Humidification of
the interior is achieved by evaporating water from a tank at a set rate by means of a hot-air
generator on the rear side of the appliance. The sterile hot steam is introduced into the inte-
rior underneath the fan and mixed with the air current. Dehumidification takes place through
the metered supply of fresh air via a sterile filter.
