If the brake pedal is continuously
depressed on a slope, the brakes
could overheat and adversely affect
brake performance.
When driving on downslopes,
operate the regeneration braking and
the foot brake together.

Always depress the brake pedal with
your right foot. Applying the brakes
with the left foot could slow your
reaction time to an emergency
situation resulting in insufficient
braking operation.

Wear appropriate shoes for driving to
avoid your shoe contacting the brake
pedal when depressing the
accelerator pedal.
