1. To remove the speed sensor, remove the
2. Remove two T-20 screws securing the
mounting bracket to the bearing housing.
3. To remove the speed sensor bracket,
remove the 17mm hex nut from the front of
the speed sensor.
4. Remove the star washer behind the nut and
remove the bracket.
5. There is another star washer and 17mm
hex nut behind the mounting bracket. This
nut is used to position the speed sensor
closer or further away from the sensor plate,
attached to the basket pulley.
6. Mark the location of the adjustment nut for
proper reinstallation.
7. The speed sensor and wire harness are
supplied as one piece.
8. To adjust the speed sensor, first loosen
the front nut, then adjust the back nut as
needed to move the position of the sensor
back and forth.
9. Re-tighten the front nut and check for
proper adjustment. Proper distance
between the speed sensor and the sensor
plate should be approximately 3mm.
10. When power is on, the speed sensor can
be tested by turning the basket pulley until
the sensor plate is in front of the sensor. If
properly adjusted, the lights of the sensor
should turn on.
11. To remove the speed sensor plate, remove
the basket pulley.
12. Remove two T-20 screws securing the
plate to the pulley.

Disconnect power before servicing.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
