1. To access components located in the
control panel, Open the top panel. Support
it with the prop rod (See page 4-1).
2. Remove two T-20 screws at the top edge of
the control panel, securing it to the chemical
dispenser mounting bracket. These screws
also have a star washer on them.
3. Lift control panel up and tilt the top forward,
allowing the guides in the bottom corners to
sit in the cutout at the top of the bracket.
4. Components accessible in the control panel
include:
A. The human machine interface, or HMI.
B. The ribbon cable connected to the HMI is
from the membrane touchpad on the front of
the control panel.
C. Wifi module is mounted to the left of HMI.
D. The Appliance control unit, or ACU is
mounted to the control panel bracket.
E. USB connection is mounted to the right
of the ACU. This is for programming and
software updates. There is another USB
connection on the back panel for the same
use.
F. At the left end of the control panel is the
coin drop.
G. The service switch is located between
the Wifi module and the coin drop, under
the top edge of the control panel. The
switch arm is actuated by the left lock in the
top panel.
H. There is a jumper in the plug, for the
Emergency Stop button used on an OPL
washer, to the left of the ACU board.
5. To open the control panel of an OPL washer
follow the directions in the left column of this
page.
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
