14. Tighten the bolt, pulling the basket in and
pulling the shaft through the bearings.
15. Tighten until the shaft is seated completely
into bearing housing. Remove the bolt,
thrust bearing and cup.
16. Inspect the end of the shaft to make sure
the shaft is seated properly in the bearing.
17. Reinstall the tub cover and clamp.
Position the marks, made earlier, for proper
orientation.
18. Tighten the clamps at the top and bottom
with a 13mm wrench. Alternate between the
clamps while tightening.
10. Using two people, pull the basket out from
the front of the washer.
11. Install a long bolt in the basket shaft as a
guide when reinstalling the basket.
12. Using two people, reinstall the basket.
Make sure to not touch the seals when
inserting the shaft into the bearing house.
13. Insert a bolt into a thrust bearing. Center
the cup on the end of the bearing house and
thread the bolt into the shaft.
