1. To remove the drain valve, remove the toe
2. Remove the drain valve cover by pressing
the tab down at the top and pulling the
cover off.
3. Disconnect the three wire connectors from
the drain valve.
nOTe:
There are two terminals at the top
of the coil on the drain valve. The front
terminal is for 60Hz service. The back
terminal is for 50Hz service. Make sure
to use the appropriate terminal for the
electrical service being used.
4. Remove the 5/16” hex head ground screw
from the right side of the frame.
5. Squeeze the end of the Christmas tree clip
and push it through the hole on the left side
of the lower opening to provide more slack
in the wires for the drain valve.
6. Loosen the hose clamp, securing the drain
line to the side of the drain valve, with a
7mm nut driver or a Phillips or flat blade
screwdriver.
7. Twist and pull the drain line to remove it
from the drain valve.
8. Loosen the hose clamp securing the
pressure sensor hose.
9. Twist and pull the pressure sensor hose off
the drain valve.
10. Loosen the clamp securing the tub to
pump hose.
11. Twist and push the tub to pump hose up
off the drain valve inlet.
12. Remove two 13mm bolts, on the left side
of the drain valve, securing it to the base of
the washer.
13. Remove the 13mm bolt on the right side of
the drain valve, securing it to the base of the
washer.
14. Slide the drain valve toward the back of
the washer. Lift it up off the channel in the
center and rotate the drain valve on its
side to be able to pull it forward out of the
opening at the front.
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
