Instrument cluster connector

ECU connector
DISCONNECTED
Check the continuity
between pin 12 of the
instrument cluster connector
and pin 70 of the ECU
connector

exits?
Ignition OFF
Repair the open circuit
Clear the error codes and
verify
Go to Step 2
YES
NO
Connect the smart tester
Turn the ignition ON
Initialize the diagnostic tool
Record the error codes and clear
Turn ignition OFF
Turn ignition ON
Verify if P160A or P160B or P1608 or
P 1609 is present
Is P160 A or P160 B
or P1608 or P1609 is
present?
YES
Clear the error codes and
verify
NO
