Turn ignition ON

Insert the relay in its
position

Check voltage between
terminal 86 of ECU
relay connector and
battery ground
Is the voltage 12
Volts?
YES
NO
Step 3

Turn ignition OFF

Main relay connector
DISCONNECTED

ECU connector
DICONNECTED

Check continuity between
terminal 87 of main relay
connector and terminal 4 of
ECU connector.

Check continuity between
terminal 87 of main relay
connector and terminal 6 of
ECU connector.


Turn ignition OFF

Main Relay connector
DISCONNECTED

Check Maxi Fuse & replace
if necessary

Check wiring harness
between terminal 86 of ECU
relay connector and battery
positive for continuity

Repair / Replace wiring
harness if necessary
Does continuity
exist?
YES
NO
Go to Step 4

Turn ignition OFF

Main relay connector
DISCONNECTED

ECU connector
DICONNECTED

Check K04 and K06 Fuse
& replace if necessary

Repair / replace wiring
harness between terminal 87
and terminals 4, 6 of ECU
connector
