Add a WebComm site on the web
NOTE: If you haven’t already done so, you need to register for a “
User Login
” on
the
website.
1. “
Login
” to www.macemeters.com with your “
User Login
” and “
Password
”. Navigate to the
“
WebComm
” page.
2. Click on the “
Add new site
” tab.
3. Select a “
Site ID
”. This should be the same “
Site ID
” that the XCi device in the field will have. Select
the appropriate “
Site Timezone
” from the drop-down list and provide a “
Site Description
” if desired.
NOTE: The "Site ID"entered in this field will be overwritten by the "Site ID" of
the XCi device in the field if it is different.
NOTE: MACE recommends that the user does not use daylight savings time.
Users should set to standard time zone at all times.
4. Check the appropriate boxes for "
Site Access
"

Allow MACE support staff to access this site to enable quick and easy help and problem
diagnostics
l
Allowing third-party applications to download site data directly, enables other manufacturers
software to directly interrogate the MACE Data Server which alleviates the need for access
through the MACE website.
5. Click "
Save site details
" and the "
My sites
" tab-sheet will appear.
