12. Remove plug (A) at the right end of the header.
IMPORTANT:
Do
NOT
remove bolts (B).
13. Add lubricant to the required level.
IMPORTANT:
Do
NOT
overfill the cutterbar. Overfilling can cause
overheating, damage, or cutterbar component failure.
NOTE:
Refer to the inside back cover of this manual for lubrication
specifications.
14. Replace plug (A) and torque to 30 Nm (22 lbf·ft).
CAUTION
Before starting the machine, check to be sure all bystanders have cleared the area.
15. Start the engine and raise the header fully.
16. Shut down the engine, and remove the key from the ignition. Engage the windrower lift cylinder safety props.
17. Remove the block from under the header.
18. Disengage the windrower lift cylinder safety props.
CAUTION
Before starting the machine, check to be sure all bystanders have cleared the area.
19. Start the engine and lower the header to a level position on the ground.
20. Shut down the engine, and remove the key from the ignition.
21. Recheck the oil level.

22. Check gasket (B) for breaks or cracks, and replace if
necessary.
23. Install plug (A) and gasket (B). Tighten securely.
