Hydraulic Center-Link without Self-Alignment:
a.
Press HEADER TILT UP or HEADER TILT DOWN cylinder
switches on the GSL to extend or retract center-link
cylinder until the hook is aligned with the header
attachment pin.
b.
Shut down the engine, and remove the key from the
ignition.
c.
Push down on rod end of link cylinder (B) until hook
engages and locks onto header pin.
IMPORTANT:
Hook release must be down to enable self-locking
mechanism. If the hook release is open (up), manually
push it down after hook engages pin.
d.
Check that center-link (A) is locked onto header by
pulling upward on rod end (B) of cylinder.
CAUTION
Check to be sure all bystanders have cleared the area.
e.
Start the engine.

15. Press HEADER UP switch (A) to raise the header to
maximum height.
NOTE:
If one end of the header does
NOT
fully raise, rephase the
lift cylinders as follows:
a.
Press and hold HEADER UP switch (A) until both
cylinders stop moving.
b.
Continue to hold the switch for 3
–
4 seconds. Cylinders
are now phased.
16. Shut down the engine, and remove the key from
the ignition.

17. Engage the safety props on both lift cylinders as follows:
a.
Pull lever (A) toward you to release, and then rotate
toward header to lower the safety prop onto the
cylinder.
b.
Repeat for the opposite lift cylinder.
IMPORTANT:
Ensure the safety props engage over the cylinder piston
rods. If the safety prop does not engage properly, raise the
header until the safety prop fits over the rod.
