Initial login procedure
Proceed as follows in order to log into the NE using an OSI connection:

NE Management View
(left window column; see figure below),
enter the target identifier (TID) in the
NE Name
box. The default TID (= default name
of the NE) is: “LUCENT-UNITE-NE”.

Select “LambdaUnite(TM) MSS” as
NE Type

select “OSI” and click

Unite Login Dialog

UserId
“LUC01” or “LUC02” and the associated
Password
“UNITE+01”
or “UNITE+02”.
NOTE:
“LUC01” and “LUC02” are pre-installed Super User logins which must used
throughout this manual. More information related to user administration and privilege
