Notes:
1.
For LXC160 and LXC 320 configurations the double density versions OP2G5D and
OP10D can only be plugged into the following slots: #2, #4, #6, #8, #13, #15, #17, #19,
#22, #24, #26, #28, #33, #35, #37, and #39. The slot to the left of a slot where such a
port unit is installed has to remain unequipped. Please observe the LXC configuration
rules described below.
2.
The associated ECI/155ME8 (CC109001479, unprotected configuration) or ECI/155MP8
(CC109192260, protected configuration) interface paddle boards must be located at the
back side of the subrack (upper row).
3.
The associated ECI51/MP72 interface paddle board must be located at the back side of
the subrack (upper row). More information is given in section
4.
It is recommended to place the OP40 packs in the lower row of the subrack (left or right
quadrant).
5.
The allowed slot position depends on the maximum switching capacity of the system (see
section
“LOXC configuration rules” (p. 5-48)
Gigabit Ethernet and 10-Gbit/s port units
To avoid thermic stress, it is recommended not to place a 10-Gbit/s port unit directly
above a Gigabit Ethernet port unit.
