Finisher/Stacker left tamper does not
move to home position failure.
The Finisher/Stacker sensor (left
tamper HP) does not detect that the
tamper has reached home position.
1. Check all the connections on the output option
controller card.
2. Check the tamper drive belt for damage and
replace if needed.
3. Replace the left tamper motor assembly. See
“Finisher or stacker tamper drive motor
assembly removal” on page 4-357
.
4. Replace the sensor (tamper HP). See
“Finisher
or stacker sensor (tamper HP left and right)
removal” on page 4-354
.
5. Replace the output option if problem remains.
