Step 2.
Grasp the tray by both handles, align the tabs on the sides of the microprocessor and memory
expansion tray with the slots on the chassis wall, and lower the tray into the server.
Note:
Before you install the new tray, make sure that there is no packaging material underneath tray.

Step 3.
Reinstall the DIMMs and heat sinks (see “Replacing a memory module” on page 233 and
“Replacing a microprocessor and heat sink” on page 287).
Step 4.
Reinstall the microprocessor air baffles, if you removed them earlier.
Step 5.
Rotate the tray handle down until the tray is seated firmly and the handle is locked in place.
Step 6.
Slide power supply 2 back into the server.
Step 7.
Reinstall the cover (see “Replacing the server top cover” on page 216).
Step 8.
Slide the server into the rack.
Step 9.
Reconnect the power cords and any cables that you removed.
Step 10. Turn on the peripheral devices and the server.
Removing a 750-watt -48 volt to -60 volt dc power supply
Use this information to remove a 750-watt -48 volt to -60 volt dc power supply.
When you remove a 750-watt -48 V to -60 V dc power supply, observe the following precautions.
