Pressing [RESPOND] for 2s while in READY or PAUSE mode opens
the User MENU
Menu A for the current parameter set n (in this example,

propriate settings menu;

Use [START]/[PAUSE] to switch parameter sets

[STANDBY] quits the menu
Setting of the mountant stroke for the parameter set n (in this exam-

); NN=40, 50, 55 or 60; the mountant volume is adjusted to suit
the coverslip length;

[START]/[PAUSE] switches to higher/lower values
