WARNING Do not switch on the roller pump if the pump cover is
opened. Never put fingers or any other body parts in the
pump while it is running! Do not put any objects in the
roller pump. The pump is designed to maintain a constant
speed; the rolls of the pump will not be stopped easily.
However, its maximum torque is limited; indicated by a
harmless rattling noise.
WARNING Use only sterile filling liquids and sterile pump tubes with
part number OBS 275/C or 275/D for the pump.
WARNING If you discover any abnormal behaviour with the pump,
stop the pump with the remote control or disconnect the
catheter from the system.
WARNING During pump calibration, do not touch or disturb the
flowmeter. Leave the system completely in rest.
Disturbance will cause a wrong calibration!
CAUTION
Make sure that the infrared receiver on the Solar Blue
module (red circle on the user interface) is always visible.
CAUTION Make sure to support the Solar Blue module when
adjusting its position on the pole, because the Solar Blue
module can weigh more than three kilos.
CAUTION When mounting the Solar Blue module on the pole with
the clamp, make sure not to tighten the plastic clamp with
too much force.
