Question marks on pressure channel
During an investigation, question marks are shown where the pressure values
should be. Check the following points:
Is the pressure transducer (solid state catheter, water transducer, air-
charged transducer) connected to the Solar Blue module?
Check if one of the cables, plugs or connectors is damaged.
Check if one or more transducers are defective, using the pressure
transducer test.
4.5.9
EMG signal is not available or very low
There is no EMG signal or the EMG signal is very low.
Check if the EMG electrodes are properly attached. The two EMG signal
cables should be connected to electrodes near the anus. The earth cable
should be connected to a ground/earth electrode on the leg or abdomen of
the patient. Male patients should preferably be shaved before placing the
electrodes. Check also if the electrodes are still in the correct position after
micturition.
Check if one of the cables, plugs or connectors is damaged. A damaged
cable or connector can be repaired.
Try another set of EMG electrodes.
Place the Solar Blue module at another position. Other equipment may
cause noise on your EMG signal.
Contact your LABORIE representative.
4.5.10
EMG signal is too low or too high
The EMG signal is too low or too high (during the investigation):
Change the scale during the investigation with the EMG keys on the remote
control.
Change the EMG scale via the protocol settings of the measurement
program (click the
Channels
button).
