5.4 Troubleshooting
There is no response to pressing a key on the remote control

Point the remote control in the direction of the Solar Blue infrared receiver.

Check via the hardware test program if the remote-control functions
correctly. If it functions correctly, the key probably has no function in the
investigation being performed.

Check if the green status LED at the front of the Solar Blue module is on.
If this is not on, consult trouble shooting of the Solar Blue module.

Try new batteries.

Check if there is an object between the remote control and the infrared
receiver, which blocks the infrared beam.
5.5 Maintenance
The batteries of the remote control should be replaced every 6 months to
ensure proper operation and to avoid leakage. If the distance at which the
remote control works properly is getting shorter than usual, it is recommended
to replace the batteries immediately.
5.6 Virtual Remote Control
The virtual remote control is a tool, which is useful when the remote control
has depleted batteries, is malfunctioning or when it is lost. The tool ensures
that the user can always proceed the investigations.
Default the remote control will not be displayed. A tool button is available
which controls the display of the virtual remote control during pre-test and
measurement.
The position of the remote-control window can be changed during pre-test by
dragging the window with the mouse. The remote-control window will be saved
and will be default for the next software start-up.
During a measurement, the remote control cannot be moved.
By clicking the keys with the mouse, the keys on the remote control will be
activated.
