Zero the flowsensor by clicking on the
Zero
button on the screen. The field
“Weight relative” should now read 0 gram. The value in the, ”Weight
absolu
te” field is the measured weight including the offset.
Take an object of a fixed known weight of less than 2 kg.
Place the object on the flowsensor. Now the field “Weight relative’ should
show the weight of the object.
For preventive maintenance, you can also place respectively the weights
500, 1000 and 2000 gram on the flowsensor and check if the readout of the
field “Weight relative” is within the limits.
If you have a device which can simulate a constant flow (ml/s), you can
check the recording. Place the urine container on the flowsensor and start
the voiding simulation. In the window. you will see the flow in ml/s.
To exit the test, click on the
Close
button.

In case no Bluetooth connection is used, Choose
Utilities > Hardware test
Solar (USB)
to perform the hardware test. Make sure that the following
conditions are met:
the Solar Blue module is connected to the computer via a USB cable,
the flowsensor is connected to the Solar Blue module with a digital cable to
one of the digital MMS-bus ports of the Solar Blue module, and
the Solar Blue module is powered by the external power adapter.
Click the Flowmeter module button to perform the test as described in the
previous pages.
