Power saving
The amount of time before switching to the Power saving mode can be set.
Memo
The Power saving is set to “0 (minute)” (Power saving is OFF) when the instrument is shipped from the factory.
Operating Procedure
Start the procedure from the <Setting> - <Instrument setup> screen.

Use [

] to move the cursor to “Power
saving”, and then press the [Confirmation] key.
The <Power saving> screen
is displayed.

] to change the value.

Memo
If set to “00”, power saving is off.

Press the [Confirmation] key to confirm, and then
press [ESC].
The selection is confirmed, and the screen returns to the
<Instrument setup> screen
.
Notes
If [ESC] is pressed without pressing the [Confirmation]
key, the settings will not be changed, and the screen will
return to the <Instrument setup> screen.
Memo
• Pressing any of the operation keys will cause the
instrument to cancel Power saving mode.
• When the instrument is communicating with a PC using
the optional SpectraMagic DX software, Power saving
mode cannot be enabled.
