Soon after the machine has been stopped the coolant is very hot and under pressure and it may cause
serious burns; let the engine cool down until it reaches approximately 40–45°C before changing the
coolant.
q
Slowly loosen the radiator cap, in order to release any residual pressure.
q
Oils, filters, the coolant and the battery are considered special waste and must be collected and
disposed of according to the regulations in force.
The coolant is already diluted with distilled water. Check the density with a coolant tester.
Prepare a container with a capacity greater than the amount of coolant.
Prepare a water hose for cleaning.

Open the engine hood (1). (For details, see "ENGINE
COVER (3-84)").
2.
Remove the lower protection (2).
3.
Remove the cover (3) placed between the hydraulic oil
tank and the cab and place a container to collect the
coolant.
