b. Message indicator (machines with KOMTRAX) 3
On machines with KOMTRAX, messages sent by your
Komatsu distributor may be read by accessing the message
display menu. The corresponding indicator at the top left
illuminates if there are any messages to be read.
The state of the indicator gives the following information.

Indicator light lit in green: Unread message present
q
Indicator light lit in blue: One message awaiting reply
q
OFF No messages
REMARK
q
If the indicator is blue, open the message. The indicator
informs the operator that no reply to the message has been
sent to the Komatsu distributor. The message service is
currently not available in the area.

In areas where the message service is not available,
proceed as follows.
1. From the standard screen, press F6.
2. Select “User Message“ in the user menu and press F6.
q
Press F5 to return to the user menu.
