17 - Remove the high-pressure pipes (29).

18 - Disconnect the glow plug supply cable (30).

19 - Remove the valve tappet cover (31).

20 - Remove the rocker-arm shaft (32).

Loosen the lock nuts and unscrew the valve tap-

pets by 2-3 turns.

21 - Take out the rocker-arm controlrods (33).

22 - Take out the screws (34) in the sequence indicated

and remove the cylinder head (35).

The cylinder head gasket (36) must be substituted

every time it is dismantled.
