4 Mounting
4.3.12 3A-compliant mounting
4.3.13 Devices with advanced diagnostics functions
• If concentric reducers are mounted on the de-
vice, the device must be installed vertically.
• Do not mount the device with the terminal box
or the transmitter case facing down vertically.
• The "mounting bracket" option (1) is not neces-
sary here.
• Make sure that the leakage hole (2) of the pro-
cess connection is at the lowest point of the in-
stalled device.
• When maintaining/replacing seals on 3A-com-
pliant hygienic devices, make sure that 3A-
compliant seals are used. The 3A-compliance
of the device is not guaranteed in case of fail-
ure to comply!
