(4) After selecting MF of the type of machine head, press (

. Then the step advances to 96 or 93, and the
setting is automatically changed over to the setting adaptable to
the type of machine head.
After the setting, be sure to turn OFF the power and turn ON the
power again.
(5) When the power is turned ON, the display on the left-hand side
appears, and the starting of the thread trimmer device is possible.
4. Confirmation of the automatic presser lifting function
(1) Depress the back part of the pedal when starting of the thread trim-
mer device is possible, and confirm that the presser foot lifts.
(2) The automatic presser lifting function can be used without any
change since the automatic presser lifting function is operative if
the presser foot lifts.
(3) Change the setting of the automatic presser lifting function when
the presser foot does not lift since the automatic presser foot lifting
function fails to work.
5. Selecting procedure of the automatic presser lifting function
(1) Pressing (–) switch
, turn ON the power switch.
(2) LED is lit up with a sound of “peep”, and (FL)
and (ON)
are
displayed. Now, the automatic presser lifting function becomes op-
erative.
(3) Turn OFF the power switch, and turn ON the power switch again.
(4) Depress the back part of the pedal, and confirm that the presser
foot lift.
(5) When repeating the operation of steps (1) to (3), LED display be-
comes “FL OFF”, and the automatic presser lifting function fails to
work.
6. Method of auto-lifter device selection
(1) Keeping the (-) switch
pressed, turn the Power switch ON.
(2) The LED is lit with the beep sound and the indications of (FL)
and (ON)
are displayed. In this state, the auto-lifter device be-
comes effective.
(3) When (+) switch
is pressed in this state, the indication of (S)
becomes
(A) and the solenoid drive is changed over to the pneumatic drive.
