Remove the wheel from the hub. Gently tap the dust 
cap off of the hub to expose the end of the spindle. 

Slide the hub off of the spindle; be careful not to drop 
the outer bearing as the hub comes off. 

Remove the cotter pin from the spindle. The castle 
nut and thrust washers can now come off.
