REMOTE FUEL TANK REMOVAL
NOTE: Remove the fuel from the tank before
removing the tank from the go-kart by using a Gas
Caddy (J&J #00223). The Gas Caddy is equipped
with a reversible pump for this purpose.
<DANGER>
Gasoline is highly flammable. Do not drain the fuel
tank near any open flame or heaters.
Always use approved containers for fuel storage.
Remove the four Allen-head fuel tank mounting
bolts.
Disconnect the fuel line.
TECH TIP: The quick-connect fitting in the tank
has an automatic shut-off, but a small amount of
spillage will occur. Place a rag or cloth under the
fuel tank quick connector to keep fuel off of the axle
cover.
Lift one side of the fuel tank and remove.
